The vision for this razor started back in April when I found the razor and the new acrylic...
It was hard not to make it earlier but thankfully I have had plenty on the bench to keep me busy...
The 5/8 size actual square point razor is near flawless I can't find any blems...
The Acrylic is a sparkling Red, White, and Blue held together with SS washers and NiAg pins a Red wedge to match the theme...

Some things you should know about this one that you can probably figure out if you look close.. Note the Little Valley NY markings and the #2102 stamped in the backside of the tail...These should look familiar to some of you...

My understanding is that George Korn was actually the master grinder for the Case brothers then moved into his own company during one of their many re-structures...
This razor has no hone wear that I can see, although she is sharp I have not tried a shave...
Since this is an NOS mint blade, I will hone it only by request, there is no charge for this, but I don't want to hone it unless the new owner wants it done... Also if wanted you can take advantage of the new service of "Your Choice of Finish Stone"...

All hones are Lapped to flat on a DMT 120 Plate then smoothed and chamfered on a DMT 325 Plate...
I test each and every hone on a razor for smoothness and functionality....

Grades are as I see them 
Grade S = Super smooth very very slick hone
Grade N = As normal as they get
Grade V = A softer cutter feels like velvet
"Swaty" Barbers hone 5x2 I lapped everything nice flat and smooth rounded down all the edges I would put this one as an "S" grade hone... This Swaty is marked Austria and has 3 lines of text... Honestly I find no difference in the same hone below that has 2 lines of text except they cost me more to get... $65 shipped !!!

I am shopping for more, the problem is, there are tons on e-bay but so many of them are trashed so I have to pick and chose carefully there ..... My local sources are getting too smart for me,,, LOL

Compared to the CrOx .50 micron this is about .25 micron and much much smoother...
